Pleas help with BSOD RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    about twice a week I have BSODS concerning ntfs.sys or ntoskrnl.exe (Windows 7 64 Bit, GigabyteGA-Z77X-D3H, GDATA 2013). I have three hard drives: SSD 256 GB as system, "normal" hdd 1 TB and "normal" hdd 2 TB. On the 2 TB hdd there are a lot of hard links (backup).

    I have already tried:

    - chkdsk serveral times

    - memtest86+ over night without errors

    - sfc /Scannow

    - uninstalling TrueImage 2012

    - installing newest drivers and bios

    - checking event log for suspicous entries

    - checking with serveral virus scanners

    - trying Microsoft sata driver  and Gigabyte sata drivers

    - reinstalling Windows over the existing windows

    Finally I started the driver verifier.

    You can find my minidumps here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/j7g0vclaqmgkgr4/55jh7immNr

    I would be glad if you had any suggestions what I can do.

    Thanks in advance!

    Yours truly

    Alex

  •  Hi

       you have tried a lot of things you must check reliabilty and problem history. Did you run the windows memory diagnostics test. Is it a laptop or a desktop

      if it is a desktop shut down the computer and unplug all the wire from the computer then open the system chasis check the RAM of your computer and hard

      drive too.  clean the dust as well if you don't get any option then who crashed software that will let you know the reason behind the blue screen.

    APC_INDEX_MISMATCH (1)
    This is a kernel internal error. The most common reason to see this
    bugcheck is when a filesystem or a driver has a mismatched number of
    calls to disable and re-enable APCs. The key data item is the
    Thread->KernelApcDisable field. A negative value indicates that a driver
    has disabled APC calls without re-enabling them.  A positive value indicates
    that the reverse is true. This check is made on exit from a system call.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 000000007700140a, address of system function (system call)
    Arg2: 0000000000000000, Thread->ApcStateIndex << 8 | Previous ApcStateIndex
    Arg3: 000000000000ffff, Thread->KernelApcDisable
    Arg4: fffff88007ec5b60, Previous KernelApcDisable

  • Hi,

    thank you for the answers. Now, I have also checked the memory with the windows memory diagnostics test which passed the memory with no errors. I have also already analyzed the mini-dumps with windbg and got the same output as SpencerXI. But I do not know what to conlude from this. I followed the link to msdn Bugcheck 0x1, but there I cannot find anything what I have not already tried.

    Regards

    Alex
