Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 connector - breaks

Every time windows 10 updates it breaks the windows storage server 2008 R2 connector connection to my server.

I have to uninstall the program and reinstall it each time.

It also seems to happen on occasional other restarts or startup of other programs.

No error message - just that server appears offline. It is showing up on network.

Any solutions?

Windows 10 Feature Upgrade breaks client connector for Window Server 2012 R2 Essentials, Windows Server 2012 Essentials and Windows Small Business Server 2011 Essentials

Current Workaround before the coming fix:
Before the fix is out, user has to reconnect the Windows 10 client to the SBS/Essentials server again after any Windows 10 Feature Upgrade.
Via this blog, we will help to let you know if there is any upcoming Windows 10 Feature upgrade that could break your installed client connector and remind you to connect the client computer again. This is just a temporary solution before the fix is out.
