Quick profile browser/searcher RRS feed

  • Hi,

    In my support department we need to quickly search and get a user in order to view related work items. The only way seems to be via Configuration Items -> Users -> Click "view all results" (as it only shows 500) (loading). -> and then finally we can type the username..this process takes way too long when a user calls on the phone.

    Is there any solution to get a quick profile browser?

  • You can use the quick search at right top corner of the console.

    Type the username and choose "Configuration Item" from the list.

  • Ok yes, it works. But first of all I have write something in the searchbar, then click CI, and I can't search on a username, only last name. oh well

  • When you are in a new / existing IR, you could just double the user in the "Affected User" enumeration, load the User form and go to Related Items from there.
