Snap feature RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

The minimum screen resolution to use the snap feature in W8, is it still 1366x768 or has it been lowered to 1024x768?

I read to many different things... one site says 1366x768, the other says 1024x768...

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi Foggy79,

I am supposing you are talking about the snap feature for apps in Windows 8 and 8.1. Since little changes have been made from Windows 8 to 8.1 , you might heard different voices.

    Windows 8.1

To access the Windows Store and to download, run, and snap apps, you need an active Internet connection and a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768

    Windows 8

To access the Windows Store and to download and run apps, you need an active Internet connection and a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768

To snap apps, you need a screen resolution of at least 1366 x 768
