Creating New Drives in Vista Home Premium RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recently bought new Laptop with Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 pre installed in it with 250 Gb HDD. But all the 250 Gb space was allocated to C: drive. Now to be more safe and secure, i want to allocate 50Gb to C: drive and rest 100 GB to D: and E: drives. Please specify the best possible solution.

You can refer to the following article to try to shrink and create partitions:

How to Shrink and Create a Partition with Disk Management in Vista

If your drive cannot be shrunk or the available shrunk drive size is smaller than that you prefer, you may need to format and repartition the drive.

    Hope it helps.
