Forward credentials to on-prem Exchange Outlook Web App from SharePoint session. RRS feed

    Hi,

    If a user is signed into SharePoint on our domain, and then navigates to the Outlook Web App, is there a way to pass those credentials along, avoiding the need for a second sign-in event?  What would need to be done in the configuration of one or both servers?

    These are both on-prem instances of Exchange 2013 and SharePoint 2013.

    You may be able to configure OWA to not use forms authentication and instead use Windows authentication, which may allow a logon based on the logon credentials in Windows.
