Forefront clients not running catch-up scans (after 2 missed) RRS feed

  • Hi,

    Thank you for your post.

You can scheduling a scan both full and quick scans. Both scan types run at intervals that you specify. When the scan fails, you can configure Stirling to have that client computer perform a full scan immediately the next time someone logs on to that computer. For more information, please refer to the following link:

  • The scan on Wednesday doesn't count towards the count of scheduled scans via FCS policy. You would need to miss 2 Sundays before it's going to scan.

  • How are catch-up scans handled in the upcoming Forefront Endpoint Protection 2010?

This has been a pain for us since we switched from Symantec AV which did catch-up scans after 1 miss.
