Exchange 2003 "hangs" when retrieving message queues. RRS feed

  • We have had a problem with spam being relayed off of our exchange server, managed to cull that but now (and before we culled it) the queue viewers just indefinitely says "retrieving queue information..." and never brings up any queues or an error, there is nothing in the event viewer either. E-mails don't seem to be going through either but again no error is being generated. Outlook on clients sends and incoming mail seems to go through the spam filter, but only the odd e-mail now and again seems to be making it through to anyone's inbox. I have no idea!

    Do you mean a message has the issue? If so, I suggest you resend the message and check the result.

    If not, I suggest you check smtp protocol logging.
