Windows Server 2016

Hi,
We have the WinSrvr 2013 gp in placed (central store), we are looking at adding the new Winsrvr 2016 gp into the env.
Question:
When we update the WindowsServer.admx/adml file, will this affect the current WinSrvr2013 group policy?
Best Regards,

Hi,
ADMX only defines the UI in gpedit.msc, not the real "content" of GPOs.

Hi,
Sorry for that there might be no such download resource. But there is specific download link for different office version, for example, the following one is for office 2016, you could check:

Hi Wendy,
1. Please confirm the which is the latest release of Windows Server 2016 admx/adml files & please provide the
2. How do we determine (from the ADMX files) the version of the correct/latest files?
Having an issue here, a sys admin said he has copied all ADMX files of Windows 10 & Windows Server 2016 ADMX/ADML files onto the central store.
However, the date of the ADMX files from this Microsoft location and the date of those ADMX files in the central stores does not match. I.E The windowsserver.adml's details in Central Store\Policies Definition folder show Date Created:24/11/2015; The same adml file downloaded from the Microsoft link show 24/11/2016.
Looks to me that he has not copies across the correct Windows Server 2016 ADMX/AMDL files onto the Central Store.
Kindly shed some lights.
Best Regards,
