Share Room Calendar with external organisation RRS feed

  • Hello.

    one of our site offices shares an office with another company, often there are double bookings for the  boardroom there causing issues.

    We run Exchange 2013 (Hybrid Deployment) and want to create a room calendar to help organize bookings. Is it possible to create a room mailbox and share it with users from another organisation?

  • Yes.  Roughly you'd do this.

    Establish a free-busy organizational relationship between the two organizations.

    Create the room mailbox in your organization.

    Create a mail contact that points to the room mailbox's SMTP address in the other organization.

    Make sure the room is configured to allow the other organization's users to book the room.
