SCSM 2012 Sp1 Portals - post install error RRS feed

    HI All

    I have installed SCSM Portal and received a successful screen and the end of the installer.  However when trying to then go to the websites I receive errors. 

    For the Content Web Site I get the below error:

    Http Error 500.0 - An internal Server Error

    Module: IIS Web Core, Notification: AuthenticateRequest, Handler:Static File, Error Code: 0x80070542

    For the Portal Site I get the below error (presumably due to the one above):

    An unexpected error has occurred.

    These are hosted on SharePoint 2010, with the Service Manager Management Server and SQL databases hosted on remote servers.

    Any thoughts appreciated.
