Convert Primary Domain Controller to a Child Domain Controller RRS feed

    Hi there

    We currently have two Domain Controllers into the two forests. We want to convert one of the DCs to Child domain controller of another DC.

    Is it possible to do it?

    Sammoji,

    It is not possible without configuration of ADDS again. For which you have to uninstall ADDS and install Again so that you can configure once again and Add a domain controller to an existing domain.

    hello,

    you have to reconfigure ADDS and while Configuring you have to select Add a domain controller to an existing domain. then give the Existing domain name credentials.
