I am not sure how to check outbound firewall WMI and file and print services RRS feed

  • kindly help me regarding SCCM client push installation on mutiple machines

    sceanraio: SCCM client says NO and bounadry is definied SCCM client push account is having admin access and once we initiate SCCM client push via console on targeted machines ccmsetup log is NOT  initiating any log thread seems setup files are unable to download from MP)

    I am able to ping SCCM server from client machine

    I am able to access SCCM shared drives from client machine

    not sure needs to check any port and not sure why SCCM client push is not intitaing any  ccmsetup logs thread  on targeted machines

    any tips or fix highly appreciate I am not sure how to check outbound firewall WMI and file and print services

    I recommend that you have a look at Jason SAndys great Startup script the you can run in i GPO and will install the client initiated from the client. then you don't need to care about Firewall ports, e.t.c. which you do in client push.

    If there's no activity in ccmsetup.log, then your issue has nothing to do with your MP.

    I am able to ping SCCM server from client machine

    This is initially irrelevant if the site server can't push ccmsetup to the client.

    I am able to access SCCM shared drives from client machine

    Shared drives on the site server are never used.

    You need to check ccm.log on the site server and actually read it and not just look for errors.

  • Thanks kindly explain after started client push on set of machines then why content (SCCM client setup binary) is not downloading from MP 

    just to  install SCCM client on set of machine bounadry and bounadry gurops is alreday present but still not sure why SCCM client is installing via client push

    Just because you started client push doesn't magically mean it will work. You need to check the ccm.log on the site server as noted to determine why the process isn't starting.

    Boundaries and boundary groups aren't relevant initially. ONce again, you need to troubleshoot and this starts by checking the log.
