SharePoint 2016 and SCOM 2019 - Configuration assistance needed! RRS feed

  • Question

  • Morning,

I currently have two production SCOM 2012R2 environments, one QC/Test, the other Prod. These work fine to monitor their respective SharePoint environments, as they are separate environments.

I recently stood up "one" SCOM 2019 DR environment that is to handle both QC and Prod DR servers. I have installed the SharePoint 2016 Management Pack without issues.

I know that I can use two run as SCOM 2016 monitoring/discovery accounts in one run as profile for SharePoint 2016.

I know I need to edit the sharepoint.config.mp file to add the service account that sharepoint will use as well as the sharepoint and sql servers for sharepoint.

Question: How do I edit the config file so that I can use two sharepoint service accounts (svc-scomspa_p, svc-scomspa_q) and their respective servers?

Thanks for your time and assistance!
