Exporting Mailboxes RRS feed

  • Question

  • Friends all right.

I'm running ExportMailbox command to PST of my users to PST in PowerShell.

But something is happening that I've never seen the mailboxes never end to export, or an account that has only 10GB of data, this time it is with 19GB PST file and will only increase.

Has anyone ever experienced this ?

  • Hi,

To narrow down your issue, I want to confirm:
    1. Do you run New-MailboxExportRequest to export mailbox to PST file?
    2. Do you means that export process cannot completed and the size of PST file is increase?

Please try to run below command to check the status of export request:
    Get-MailboxExportRequestStatistics <Identity> | FL

Also, run below command to check the status of mailbox:
    Get-MailboxStatistics two  | FL  *Name*,*size*

If there's no error return, please wait for complete the mailbox exporting. Otherwise, please help collect the errors for further assistance.

  • Hi,

    Thank you for your updates.

Does this issue only occur on some special account?
If so, please try to repair this mailbox or move mailbox to other database for testing.
Also, please try to restart Microsoft Exchange Replication service for testing.

Note, you should add AcceptLargeDataLoss parameter once the value of BadItemLimit is set to 50 or higher.
