Stop forcing clients to use WSUS

Upgraded/migrated a SBS 2003 server to a new server with Server Essentials 2012 R2. The SBS 2003 server had WSUS, but the hard drives failed before removing clients from WSUS (not planning to run WSUS on new server). The desktop clients are still looking to the old server for Windows Updates which I assume has been carried over from the migration and being enforced by the new server via group policy. How do I manually stop forcing clients to use WSUS, if the old WSUS server is inaccessible?

Hi diplomatically,

If we modify the GPO to point the WSUS server to the new server, we need to run gpupdate /force on clients to apply the new GPO, so that the related value of the registry key will be changed.
