  • Install MAP run the inventory scan. Using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (or others) to query the database.

    SELECT DISTINCT
          ComputerName
          ,ProductName
          ,ProductVersion
          ,ProductVendor
          ,AllDevices_Assessment._DevicesWithOsNameAndVersionView.OperatingSystem

      FROM UT_WinServer_Reporting.InstalledProductsView
      JOIN AllDevices_Assessment._DevicesWithOsNameAndVersionView on UT_WinServer_Reporting.InstalledProductsView.MAPDeviceGUiD = AllDevices_Assessment._DevicesWithOsNameAndVersionView.DeviceNumber
     where productname like '%winzip%'

  • Here is another method that doesn't require the installation of SQL Server Management Studio, done within the MAP Team Blog.  Quick an easy if your used to using pivot tables a bit more and have Excel already installed.
