802.1X Authentification failure

Hi alll,

i'm triying NAP 802.1x authentication. So all work very well. When a user is healty, he go in vlan healty, and when he is in unhealty state, he go in antother vlan.

I try to grant access to Non Nap computer. But I can not access. In the first, i don't authenticate my computer when I shutdown NAP Agent. But I activate agent, he works very well.

So my rule don't work.

I receive a error message in event viewer of my computer :

Error Wired Auto-config : 15506

Explicit EAP Failure.

I don't understand, normally, authentication 802.1x are not indepedant by NAP Agent. truth ??

Hi Ferdi,

From the problem you described, it seems like that you are having the wired network authentication problem. Your network adapters requires the correct 802.1x authentication settings to connect to a specific 802.3 ethernet network, on which the 802.1x authentication is performed.

Since you are configuring the EAP authentication method, there is a note provided bewteen the lines in the first link below, hope that tips can help you solve the problem.
