Activating Office 2013 on the KMS Host

Question
-
So I set up my PC as the KMS Host to activate our Windows 7 and Office 2013 machines that we have. All is well and working as intended. I did not have Office 2013 on my machine at that point. Once I got the KMS Host Service up and running, I installed Office 2013 on my PC, the same PC that is the KMS Host. When I try to activate it, it says that the KMS Service is unavailable...is this because it is the KMS Host? Are you able to use Office 2013 on the KMS Host? I'm not sure how to get around this. Every other PC is activating correctly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm sure it's a simple fix I'm just not sure where to go at this point.

Hi
Refer to the article below to check and make sure you have meet the requirements to set up a KMS clients:

Here's a link on how to configure a KMS clients:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff793406.aspx
As far as I know, KMS clients can be activated on the same computer as the KMS host, just check you have configured properly.
In addition, refer to the link below on Troubleshooting Volume activation:

I have seen both of those articles. Everything is working as intended so I believe everything is configured correctly. All clients are activating except the Office 2013 on my machine, which is the KMS Host.
When I use the VAMT 3.0 to scan my machine, it brings up both keys: one being the Office 2013 KMS Host key and the other being the generic license that is installed on Office 2013. The KMS Host key is, of course, activated. The Office 2013 client key is not and when I try to activate it gives me the "No KMS service available" error. On every other PC on the network that has Office 2013, when I activate it, it activates successfully. Just not sure what to do.
