pxe boot with WDS/MDT RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Recently I have deployed WDS and MDT on Windows Server 2012-R2, my DHCP is running on a separate server.

After the deployment of WDS and MDT and I am facing boot errors, I have requested network admin to add IP helper address as WDS IP in the router. Also, note that my client machine and WDS are on the network.

Anyone know how to deal with the following error message.

PXE-E79: NBP is too big to fit in free base memory

    PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.

  • I would first start in the BIOS and disable legacy boot. If deploying Win10 set the BIOS to UEFI and enable network stack and give that a go.

  • The IP Helper should fix this
