Architecturally speaking, what's the best (or easiest) way to have a SharePoint workflow start a windows process?
E.g. starting a workflow runs a batch file on an arbitrary server (web front end, database backend, non SharePoint server etc.)
Pointers to sample code would be much appreciated.
