SCOM alterts not being sent to SCSM RRS feed

  • Site hierarchy:

    SCSM: Latest release running on server 2008 R2; SQL 2008 on a separate 2008 R2 server

    SCOM: Running SCOM R2 all site system servers running 2003 SP2 64 bit.

    First I apologize for ignorance on this topic; I have not had a lot of exposure to either product.

    My problem lies within SCSM and the SCOM alert connector.  I am able to get it setup without issue and I receive the following event ID's in the Op's Man event log (http://blogs.technet.com/b/servicemanager/archive/2010/04/14/troubleshooting-tips-for-your-scsm-scom-alert-connector.aspx):

     

    34021

    34085

    34082

    34087

     

    These event’s show the connector has been setup and synched correctly, however I have yet to see an alert forwarded to SCSM.  I do have a few errors in that Op's Man log (Event ID's 40003 OpsMgr SDK Client & 34081 Ops Manager connector) however these events have stopped since I removed the connector and re-added it.  I have double checked (not saying they are right) my settings for this connector on the SCSM console and SCOM internal connectors.  Any help, advice or direction anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

  • This has been resolved.  Installing Cumulative update 3 corrected the problem we were seeing.

  • Cumulative Update 3 for SCSM or SCOM? I am having the same problem. When I tell SCOM manually forward an alert, it works, but not automatically. Any suggestions are appreciated.
