TP5 - Problems with screen brightness adjusting? RRS feed

    Is anyone else encountering problems with not being able to adjust screen brightness under TP5? Using (in this example) a laptop with fully installed AMD/ATI graphics drivers that are 100% up to date, the brightness adjusting section under display does appear, but moving the slider doesn't ever brighten or dim the screen (even with adaptive brightness very disabled...), nor do the keys for doing so which work under previous versions, 7, 8.1, R2, etc. The "top left" little slider appears and moves up and down but again, the brightness never changes. It seems fairly clearly an OS issue rather than drivers or hardware given it has worked up to TP5. It is essentially stuck on full brightness always. Anyone else encountering this?

    Hi,

    I have not found similar issue.

    Please note that it’s not recommended to install Windows Server Operating System on laptop devices, as drivers installed on laptops might not be compatible with Server operating systems.

    I suggest you test Windows Server Technical Preview 5 on a workstation system.
