Change OSD background

Question
-
I am trying to change a background for the OSD. Not the initial WInPE wallpaper. That i changed on WinPE properties.
The background after WinPe reboot and runs a task sequence "copy wim file and the rest of the TS"
I mounted my boot.wim file and found in c:\windows\system32\winpe.bmp file, which is the file i have added in WinPE properties.
Is there a way to change the wallpaper during OSD?
Thank you.

there is a tool that I believe would server your purpose: http://blogs.technet.com/b/cameronk/archive/2010/04/28/snazzy-osd-status-with-bginfo.aspx
also there is another thread which deals with this issue, but only provides a solution for xp: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/systemcenter/en-us/34ba0330-7ca3-4164-b41e-63ca19996df6/change-background-during-deployment-of-windows-xp
you didn't state which OS you are rolling out, so i'm not sure if that second link is relevant however it could possibly be adapted for win7.

Hi,
I normally use the files from MDT to actually be able to display OS deployment progress as well on the background even when the computer has rebooted into the full Windows OS. That is included in the MDT task sequence if you install the extensions for Configuration manager.
It looks like this can be used to achieve the same without the MDT addon: http://blogs.technet.com/b/cameronk/archive/2010/04/28/snazzy-osd-status-with-bginfo.aspx

You could try this method: http://www.kozeniauskas.com/itblog/2008/04/10/sccm-how-to-change-or-modify-boot-image-background-picture-for-osd/
Make sure to use a .bmp file format.
