Run Automatic Deployment Rules Now RRS feed

  • Question

  • I messed up and forgot there were 3 Thursdays in this month. So my automatic deployment rules ran last Thursday. I deleted all those deployments and I need to run the automatic deployment rules now. If I right click a rule and select run now nothing is happening! What logs can I check to see what's happening???

    Really in a bind here and would appreciate a quick response..

    Thanks

  • Ruleengine.log Note that manually running an ADR usually isn't reflected in the UI until it finishes.

  • Yeah, I actually scheduled them to all a half hour in the future and they finally started showing up about an hour and a half later. I have a couple of them that failed with "unspecified error". Any way for me to find out why?

  • what does the ruleengine.log say?

  • That log is what I was looking for but its difficult to read. I have about a dozen rules. How do I relate a rule to a rule number.

    I did find this error:

    CRuleHandler::CreateFailureAlert - Alert ID = 16777381

  • Use cmtrace to read the logs. I don't have a console next to me right now but I think you can add a column that contains the ruleID.
    Plus a single line from a log doesn't help at all.
