LogonUI.exe - Entry Point Not Found

Hi,

Recently this error popped up, "The procedure entry point SsoCredentials could not be located in the dynamic link library DialogManager64.dll."

This appears at Windows logon, either when I boot my machine or lock my computer.

What's this and how do I go about fixing it?

Disable all startup items, restart and then enable in batches to identify what is causing the error.

I did a "Diagnostic startup" and that's as basic as it gets, basic devices and services, and still the error pops up.

If so, the root cause should be the system files.

Here I suggest you run the following command as Admin to fix the corrupted or missing system files:

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

In addition, please confirm your Windows 7 is up to date since some updates will fix some issues in previous build.
