Word 2010 unable to open embedded PDF RRS feed

    I have a 2010 Word document with an embedded PDF file. When I double-click the icon the file doesn't open; when I right-click > Adobe Document Object > Open, the file still doesn't open. No apparent error code. Just nothing happens. Not my doc so I don't know history, but it looks like it should work.

    What version of Adobe are you running?

    Repair Adobe first - Might recreate the registry keys and copy the approriate files (installation could be corrupt) or

    Try installing an Earlier Version of Adobe and uninstall the current version.
