Suddenly lost Color in Excel 2010 PowerView charts on the Sharepoint 2010 server RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We had posted some Excel 2010 PowerView charts on sharepoint 2010.  All of a sudden the charts are displaying in Black and white (or shades of grey).  The last time this happened, we just restarted the server and it seemed to fix the problem (at that time).  It keeps happening.

    Help!!

  • Hello Jones !  Solution 1. For Loosing Shading in color in the Excel 2010.

    An VBA script ran in background that by some fetched excel sheets.

    Would you like to try this one,

    Open Excel - New.

    right click worksheet1 beneath the sheet to Show Code.

    In the VBA, in the properties of the worksheet1, look for

    show hidden worksheet - find this properties and set it

    true, i.e., to make it visible visible.

    Close VBA, Test - click a cell - fill with a color. Now OK. it is filled.

    discard the untitled worksheet.

    Open your desired worksheet, now all OK with the Original Colors.
