Unable to change password over LAN

    Question

  • HI Team,

    we are having 3 domain controllers. 2 in one facility and 1 in another facility. Here the issue is we are able to dis-join and re-join computers in both the facilities but when we try to change the password for the domain user from the end user computer it says"no logon servers available" . Need your suggestions to resolve this issue.

  • Hi

     First verify the trust on client computers;

    Then check the necessary ports accessibility;

  • Please provide more details on this.

    Are you facing this issue only when try to change password for the users?

    Does all other functionalities like accessing domain share, ping, name resolution,etc works fine?

    What happens if the same user try to change password from a different machine?

    To me this looks more specific to firewall/network issue.
