Hello, we've trying to use Roaming profiles in a unique way, we have it setup with GPO so that only the ntuser.dat part of the profile roams. This is working. We are using Vista Enterprise x86 SP2 and the roaming profile fileshare server is running Windows 2008 sp2
When loggin on to Computer A with a new profile, the profile is properly created no issues.
the Profile root has the following files and folders

When the user logs off Computer A the following files are created on the profile file share :

Loging on to Computer B copies the Roaming profile, but in the c:\users\%Username% a lot of the default shell folders and all of the HardLinke folders not being created.
so we only have the followign folders present :

I've done quite a bit of searching and have not found any explanation for this behavoir ?
I could not find any related errors in the Application of system event logs.
Does anyone here have any ideas ?
