Remote execution of App-v Powershell commands RRS feed

  • Question

  • Is there any way to execute the App-V powershell commands in the remote machines.

    Like remote execution of "Sync-AppVPublishingServer 1"

    I want to control all the app-v client machine using powershell without login to those machines.

    Please Help me.

  • I'm not that familiar yet with powershell... but maybe you could use the invoke-Command cmdlet like:

    Invoke-Command -ComputerName computername -ScriptBlock{Get-AppvClientConfiguration}
    But why do you want to refresh the servers remotely? This happens on logon and on interval basis.

  • Thanks a lot Tiberivs.

    Instead of creating remote session and then executing the powershell command, is there any way to execute the powershell script in the servers listed in text document.

    Thanks,

    Prem
