    How we can move the APP-V 5.0 DB from one SQL 2012 server to another SQL 2012 Server. I did that successfully with the earlier version of APP-V, but was unable to implement in my environment as there is no MS document out there.

    Here what I did and what I am facing the issue:-

    1) Backed up the Database on a SQL 2012 server having AppVManagement DB.

    2) Restored it on another SQL 2012 server with just simple steps. Restoration was a success.

    3) Installed the APP-V management Server pointing to the moved DB.

    4) Installed the Publishing server successfully.

    5) But when I tried to browse the APP-V 5.0 console I am receiving the following error:-

    I can connect to the DB Source (ODBC Source test) and I can ping the DB server too.
    What else I need to do accomplish  the scenario. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I got the solution of my issue. Actually the name of the Management server was mentioned correctly at the time of installation of APP-V management server and the publishing server.

    Checked the DNS entry of the machine and the mistake clicks. Now all the anguish pain is away for now. The DB was restored successfully and all the application launched with the moved DB.
