BCS problem

  • hi I face the error

Database Connector has throttled the response. The response from database contains more than '2000' rows. The maximum number of rows that can be read through Database Connector is '2000'. The limit can be changed via the 'Set-SPBusinessDataCatalogThrottleConfig' cmdlet.

and after seraching I found the below command but I donot know how to undrestand the identity

    Get-SPBusinessDataCatalogThrottleConfig -Scope Database -ThrottleType Items -ServiceApplicationProxy $contosoServAppProxy | Set-SPBusinessDataCatalogThrottleConfig -Maximum 1000000000 -Default 500000

  • Hi ,

Check below script to change the throttle config

    Set-SPBusinessDataCatalogThrottleConfig -Identity $dbRule -Maximum 1000000 -Default 3000

    Set-SPBusinessDataCatalogThrottleConfig -Identity $dbRule -Enforced:$false

    Set-SPBusinessDataCatalogThrottleConfig -Identity $dbRule -Enforced:$true

Remember that if you run one of these commands and immediately type $dbRule, you won’t see the changes reflected; you should re-fetch the rule using Get-SPBusinessDataCatalogThrottleConfig again. Your changes are immediately committed by Set-SPBusinessDataCatalogThrottleConfig, but it may take a few minutes for them to be reflected in external lists and other runtime scenarios.
