Office 2007 (Excel) was unable to discover Windows Server 2003 RRS feed

  • Hi. We have Windows Server 2003 SBS server which functions as a file server. For the client, we are using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and MS Office 2007. In Windows Explorer, under Network, the server can be discovered without any problem. Now the problem is in Excel/Word/PowerPoint, whenever we open a file and browse the network for computers, the server is not appearing. Other computers are discovered except for the Windows Server 2003 Server. What may be the possible solution for this?

    I know that this is a simple problem but my manager wants to use this procedure. I explained him an alternative but still he insist to use this.
