  • What are the permissions to access the share?  What are the NTFS permissions?

Logs are very important. https://keithga.wordpress.com/2014/10/24/video-mdt-2013-log-files-basics-bdd-log-and-smsts-log/ Mention any customizations you have made.

  • Hi Ty ,

The background to this is that I've  just created a new Deployment Sever Using MDT 2013 update 1 and Windows 10 ADK

When trying to connect to my new deployment server from my boot image I get the following error .

Cannot reach deployroot. Possible cause: Network routing error or Network configuration error

I've created an MDT user account which I given permissions to access the DeploymentShare .

I've modified the share and security permissions in order for the MDT user account to have permissions on the Deployment Share. and using that MDT accout I can  access the share from the command line using the 'net use ... etc.'  I can subsequently read and write data  to the deployment share but despite this I'm still presented with the same message 'Cannot reach deployroot. Possible cause: Network routing...etc'

Hope this makes sense and help in this regard I would appreciate ,

    James

  • Can you share your logs on something like OneDrive?
