DST 9.1 error - The e-mail address has already been uploaded under a different company RRS feed

  • Hello,

    In our exchange online hybrid configuration I've configured the Directory Synchronization Tool 9.1 to upload our user list and email addresses to FOPE. I'm having a problem with several users, mostly admins, who I receive the following error via email for after a sync run:

    The following invalid entries were reported during the upload process: 

    [Submitted Data Collection]

    Non-eligible addresses:

    user@domain.com (The e-mail address has already been uploaded under a different company.)

    user2@domain.com (The e-mail address has already been uploaded under a different company.)

    These users have the same primary SMTP domain as the other ~4000 successfully uploaded users. I don't notice any real similarities between the failures (about 7 users in total) other than most are Exchange/Enterprise admins in the on-premise organization.

    How can I troubleshoot this? We own domain.com and there shouldn't be any other companies they are uploaded under. Help!
