Missing recovery points RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have allocated 250GB for recovery point volume.  I only see possible recovery points but it has used 232GB. I know there were more recovery points the day before but today I only see two, which we do one every 12 hours. There was some kind of consistency check ran against DPM yesterday around 4PM that's all I know.

This is all I see with get-recoveryPoint cmdlet

    Name                  Backup Time         Datasource           Location
    ----                   -----------               ----------              --------
    sharepoint\... 4/5/2011 8:04:32 PM  SharepointFarm\... Disk
    sharepoint\... 4/6/2011 12:07:2...    SharepointFarm\... Disk

Is it possible to recover those missing recovery points? If not, how do I clear it out so that I still have more room for future recovery points? I know that my SP env. does not consumed that much disk space for just two recovery points

  • Hi

Open an elevated command prompt and run the DPMSYNC -ReallocateReplica. Are the recovery points back?

    Best Regards
