What stops timesheet managers & status managers from viewing timesheets & tasks. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I was helping one of my colleagues.

I am not sure this is an end result of server flaws or anything else.

My colleague is the status manager for all the tasks.

Everyone has submitted time but he has received only 2 updates.

The remaining 10 updates are yet to come.

I am not able to figure out what stops a status manager from viewing the tasks in approval center to approve and how does it get fixed automatically.

Also I wanted to know what stops a timesheet manager from viewing timesheets to approve.

  • Ankit,

    • The first thing to confirm is that that your colleague is really the status manager on the 10 tasks that he is expecting updates. If someone else with a PM permissions has created tasks in the schedule, they become the status manager of that task.
    • As for Timesheets issue, The obvious one is to check the permissions of that group.
    • In addition, I would check if you have the "require Line approval before Timesheet Approval" box is checked under the Timesheet Settings.
