  • Please check the log files or the event log for more information on the error.

     OR

    Try to change the entry in web.config, by setting the CallStack value to "true" (<SafeMode MaxControls="200" CallStack="true">)

    Also set the custom errors to 'Off'  <customErrors mode=“Off“/>

    The above setting will give you more information about the error

  • Hi,

    From your description, I understand that your Central admin site is hosted on port 80, and when you access the site, you got the error.

    You said “Impersonate is true in web.config on both server”,  was the web.config for the Central admin? please check the web.config for the Central admin web application, make sure impersonate is true:

    <system.web>

    <identity impersonate=”true”/>

    </system.web>

    Let me know if I misunderstand you.

    My central Administration is running on diferent port , also I have another sites runing on different ports like 80 (and by default the ipersonate has been set to true), and I am facing the above exception on all sites.

    I would like to mention that Share Service has been configured on the farm and session state was enabled.

  • It also looks like the impersonating is set to false on at least one of the servers due to this snipit from the uploaded error.

    Thread information:
    Thread ID: 13
    Thread account name: DOMAIN\USER1
    Is impersonating: False

    Make sure that all of the needed servers have impersonation set to true.

    Document library event handlers that use object model code without explicit impersonation fail with the "Cannot complete this action" error message after Windows SharePoint Services Service Pack 2 is installed

  • can you check with the registry

    Registry key 1033 under ServerLanguage
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\12.0\ServerLanguage

    i guess this might be missing

    Thanks,

    Raj
