Usign Hyper-V Manager or Remote Desktop to connect to VM on Hyper-V host

    Question

  • I have a couple of companies that I am involved with and want to have an AAD joined machine to each on one single physical machine.  To connect to a respective VM, should I use remote desktop or Hyper-V manager ?

  • Hi,

Only one can connect to a old fashion 'virtual machine connection' at a time, so if another one is connected using vmm, he will get disconnected.

Hyper-V 2012 with server 2012/Windows8 supports enhanced session which supports multiple connections. Works similar to a regular rdp session, but rdp doesn't have to be allowed on the host it self.

    Remote Desktop...is just remote desktop!

So what ever benefits your requirement I guess,. :)
