Licensing & Auto Attendants / Call Queues? RRS feed

  • Question

  • We've got Microsoft 365 Business (beta) w/ Skype for Business Online (Plan 2) licenses, + Cloud PBX Licenses.

Are Auto Attendants and Call Queues included with a Cloud PBX license?

We see them in our interface -- and they're usable -- but some documentation suggests they're only for Enterprise E3/E5? (That'd be weird since they're super standard, basic PBX features, but we're afraid to commit to a Skype deployment if they're going away/unlicensed.)

    Thanks!

  • Please go ahead and deploy AA and CallQ -- these two features are PART of CloudPBX Plan (add-on in your case) that you already subscribed and paid for and have nothing to do with E1/E3/E5 plans.

  • Hi nicksuser,

In order to achieve the Cloud PBX auto attendant and Call Queues,

You could buy the Skype for Business Online Plan 2 and Cloud PBX licenses, except buy the cloud PBX licenses, you also could Switch to the E1 or E3 plan , PSTN Calling service: buy a PSTN Calling plan from Microsoft Or, use the telephone service from your existing provider.

  • Sure, so Auto Attendant and Call Queue show up, but a couple of pages clearly state they're only available with E3 or E5, which we don't have. (That licensing makes no sense to us, since they're such basic features of a PBX).

    e.g.:

"Your organization must have (at a minimum) an Enterprise E3 plus Skype for Business Cloud PBX license or an Enterprise E5 license. "

  • Hi semenko,

Skype Cloud PBX is available worldwide for the clients and phones as part of the Office 365 Enterprise E5 suite, or as an add-on to Office 365 Enterprise E1, Office 365 Enterprise E3, or Skype for Business Online Plan 2.

if you have doubts about the license ,the following link is for you reference.
