Windows 7 not installing RRS feed

  • I just got a new computer and when I have gone to install Windows it won't work. It comes up with this screen that sates:

    Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

    1) Insert your Windows installation disc and restart your computer

    2) Choose your language settings, and then click ''Next.''

    3) Click ''Repair your computer''

    If you do not have this disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.

    Status: 0xc000000f

    Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data. 

    I have tried everything to fix this please help!

  • Hi,

    How did you install the Windows 7? Like the prompt message, did you try to fix the issue using the disc?

    you should repair your system 

    Perform Startup repair from Windows recovery environment and check.

    aPut the Windows 7 installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.

    bPress a key when you are prompted.

    c: Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then clickNext.

    d: Click Repair your computer.

    eClick the operating system that you want to repair, and then clickNext.

    f: In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click Startup Repair .
