  • HI There,

    Greetings for the Day.

    Please help me , we are migrating exchange server 2007 to exchange 2010. we want to change our public CA , Please help me in understanding the drawback i.e what will be the impact of changing it on Active Sync, RPC Over HTTPS and owa.

    Pls help.

    According to your description, I understand that you want to know the influence when migrate Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010 and change public CA.
    If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    We need request a new certificate for Exchange 2010 after migration. When we migrate Exchange 2007 to Exchange 2010, there's a period of time when Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010 servers will coexist within your organization. Therefore, we must register DNS record for legacy Exchange server in internal and external DNS, the same as CA.
    Besides, we need to reconfigure OWA, OAB, ActiveSync, Web service and AutoDiscover virtual directories, and other settings. More details about Step-by-Step Exchange 2007 to 2013 Migration, for your reference:
