OWA and RMS error message :open message behalf on other user or use Outlook RRS feed

  • Hello!

    I got my AD RMS finally working for Exchange 2010 .-Virtualized with 2008 R2.

    I try to get it working with OWA.

    IRM is enabled on OWA.

    I also added the Federated Email Account to the Superuser Group of AD RMS, but I see it is disabled as

    Email Account on Exchange. (this is default)

    When I send a test message I get the following message for the recipient:

     

    The message you tried to open is protected with IRM. The sender didn't give you the rights necessary to view the message.

    To open this message on behalf of another user, use Outlook.

     

    Do i have to enable the Federated Email Account or is this message related to another problem ?

    Not sure what guidance you are following, but I would recommend that you follow the Exchange team's documentation here:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff927945(v=ws.10).aspx

    And if that does not clear things up, you should try cross-posting on the Exchange 2010 supprot forum.
