  • Is local cache of a client is updated back to Server 2008 R2? What I mean is if client01 gets file from Server and it then caches this file. now if user on client01 modifies the file will it be updated back to Server?

    Thanks for posting here.

     

    If I understand you correctly that when you copy and paste file from server to local and modify it, this changed file will not be synchronized with file server. Please take look the cache process that described in the document below :

    However, the goal you mentioned could be achieved by using offline files, a windows build in feature on clients side, for more information please refer to the link below:
