Reporting Services Server cannot connect to the DPM database. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have problem with scheduling reports on DPM 2010. I can generate single reports without any problems also i can access reports via report server page. But when i try to schedule any report I got following error:

Reporting Services Server cannot connect to the DPM database.

To repair the configuration, follow steps for repairing DPM from DPM Setup Help.

    ID: 3001

Configuration: Full SQL 2008 R2 with two instances one for DPM 2010 and second one for other System Center apps - I'm aware it's not best practice to have those apps on the same srv as DPM.

    Vilow

  • Is your DPM Database located on a SQL 2008 R2 Instance?

  • Is the SQL Server a standalone SQL Server or did you install the Database wich came along with DPM?
