Console Won't Refresh - Timeout expired and Null value is eliminated errors RRS feed

  • Hello,

    My FF console has decided to stop working. I open it up and it will try to refresh for a few minutes. After that i get the following error

    An error occured during vew refreshing. Verify that you have successfully completed the configuration wizard and have permission to access the management server
    Further details:
    Timeout Expired: The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
    Warning: Null value is eliminated by an aggregate or other SET operation


    I did some googling and came across some solutions that i have already tried but have not fixed the problem.

    1. re-ran the configuration wizard
    2. run DBCC Checkdb on onepoint and systemcenterreporting
    3. uninstall/reinstall reporting services

    My normal reporting from http://servername/reports and http://servername/reportserver work fine. it is just the console that doesn't work.


    Any ideas where to go from here?

  • In a weird piece of luck, i came in this morning and the console is working fine now.  I wonder if after doing the above steps, i just needed to run the DTS task to get it all synced up again.
