Moving Exchange 2010 mailbox database to another server

Question
-
Hi,
I have two Exchnage 2010 Servers in same Forest but seperate domains. I would like to move database from Exchange Server B to Exchange Server A. The wan link for Exchange Server B is very poor and tends to go down quite a bit so move mailbox is not really an option. So basically I want all users connecting to their email on Server A and I will be removing Server B. Server A and B are geographically long distance between each other i.e. africa/europe. If I have to we can transport data using tape/usb disk
Would it be suitable to create a DAG between A and B... Could I backup the database on Server B and restore it to Server A before starting the DAG sync?
Should I use database portability?
Should I do PST export/import

In place upgrade is not supported.
While there are methods that claim they can do it, it isn't something I would do with a live server.
Thus you have two options.
1. Move the mailboxes between the servers.
2. Bring up a second temporary server which is running Enterprise edition, add it to the DAG, then move the mailboxes to that second server. The database on the other side will then populate as the mailboxes are moved.
If move mailbox is not an option, then neither is a DAG. The only other option I would be looking at then is picking the entire server up and moving it to the second location or to somewhere that has a more reliable Internet connection, even on a temporary basis.
Although being blunt, unless you are relocated the users as well, if the Internet is unreliable, why move the users to another server at all?

Actually DAG not option as I have only Windows 2008 standard and I presume inplace upgrade from standard to ent is not supported when exchange is installed on server?
Or has anybody tried this http://jamiebaldanza.org/2010/09/08/in-place-windows-server-2008-r2-standard-to-enterprise-upgrade/ ?
