Intranet website using non-standard https port RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have DirectAccess working fine and browse all the companies intranet websites over http and https, except for one.

Our Blackberry Enterprise Server admin site is delivered over port 3443, https://besx.mydomain.com. This site opens fine inside the network but fails from outside.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting external access to this site using DirectAccess?

    Thanks

Answers

  • Will the admin site be accessed over native IPv6, ISATAP or NAT64? If it is NAT64, there are some limitations you have to be aware of. For example (from http://blogs.technet.com/tomshinder/archive/2010/04/16/what-about-ipv4-only-deployments.aspx, thanks Tom!):

  • Any application protocol that imbeds IP addresses in the protocol header may not work, since the NAT64 feature doesn’t include NAT editors for any specific application protocol. This is especially problematic when there are IPv4 addresses imbedded in the application layer header
