Outlook 2007 wont open in windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Today, for some reason, Outlook 2007 won't open; not from the shortcut, not from the programs list, etc.  I'm not getting an error message.

I'm using an HP G70 laptop with Windows 7 and IE8.

My little activity cursor comes on for just a second and then goes away.  My ISP's mail server is being replaced at the moment, but I don't see how that could be an issue.

The fixes I've seen here all seem to relate to receiving an error message.

    Anyone else encountered this?

  • I've not encountered this and I'm using Outlook 2007.  Does rebooting the entire computer result in any change?  Also, what does the error message say?

  • Thanks for getting back to me, Shawn.

I did a restart and it opened just fine...should have thought of that myself.

    Thanks again, Dave Ripley
